What happened
A sponsored Risky Business interview with Airlock Digital's CTO and CSO Peter Baussmann covers ASD's evolution of the Essential Eight into the Essentials framework. The article describes Essentials as broader, less prescriptive and requiring more judgement than the Essential Eight. It gives no specific controls, versions or deadlines, so defenders should check ASD's own publications for the detailed requirements.
