Delete your RedTeamDaily account
Last updated 3 November 2026
This page is for the RedTeamDaily: Security News app (Android and iPhone) and redteamdaily.com, by Codelivly. You don’t need an account to read the news, so if you never made one there is nothing to delete.
Delete your account in the app
- Open the RedTeamDaily app and go to the Me tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
- Type your password (or DELETE if you signed in with Google or Apple) and confirm.
Delete your account on the website
- Sign in at redteamdaily.com and open Profile.
- Under Your data, type your password and press Delete my account.
Can’t sign in?
Email privacy@redteamdaily.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We reply within 30 days.
If you own a Teams workspace, hand it to another member or close it first; the app tells you if this is needed.
What is deleted
You are signed out on every device at once, and within 30 days we erase:
- your account: email address, name, password and two-step sign-in settings;
- saved stories, follows, watchlist, alerts, history and checklist ticks;
- your newsletter subscriptions, push notification tokens and story reports.
What is kept, and for how long
- Payment records (donations, Teams plans): the amount, date, Stripe reference and receipt email, for as long as UK tax law requires. Card details are never stored by us.
- Ask AI questions: kept 30 days to stop abuse, then erased.
- Usage counts (page views, story opens): these never contained anything that identifies you, so there is nothing to delete.
- Encrypted server backups: removed 14 days after your data is erased.
Delete some data but keep your account
- History: open History in the app or on the website and clear it.
- Saved stories, follows and watchlist: remove any item from its list.
- Notifications: turn them off in Me, or sign out to remove this phone’s push token.
- Anything else: email privacy@redteamdaily.com and say what you want deleted.
See the privacy notice for everything we collect.
