Many Belgian Teens Would Hide Online Scams From Their Parents
A survey commissioned by payment service Bancontact found that 37% of Belgian teenagers aged 12 to 17 would not tell their parents if they were scammed online. Among French-speaking teens the figure is 45%. The article argues that scam awareness depends on young people feeling safe enough to seek help from someone they trust, not only on recognising suspicious links.
